NextGen Payments and RegTech Forum returns to Zurich with Koen Vanderhoydonk on stage

QUBE Events brings the 24th NextGen Payments and RegTech Forum back to Zurich on 5 March 2026, hosted at the Marriott Hotel. The forum convenes senior leaders from banks, fintechs, PSPs, and regulators to focus on what is moving from strategy to execution in payments and compliance, and what organisations need to deliver measurable outcomes.

This year’s agenda is built around the realities shaping financial services operations. Real time rails and account to account flows, the rise of embedded finance, and the growing role of AI driven risk controls are changing how firms design customer journeys and manage operational resilience. In parallel, RegTech maturity is accelerating, with integrated, analytics led approaches that aim to shorten compliance cycles and strengthen enterprise risk alignment.

What the forum will cover

Participants can expect practical discussion across topics including:

Koen Vanderhoydonk speaking

Koen Vanderhoydonk, Founder and CEO at The Connector, will be speaking at the Zurich edition and is featured by QUBE Events as Co Chairman for the forum. His sessions will focus on what decision makers need to prioritise to make change stick, from governance and market structure to partnerships that improve delivery across payments and compliance teams.

Why this matters now

Payments modernisation and regulatory expectations are moving in tandem. That creates a frequent gap inside organisations: ambitious transformation roadmaps on one side, and day to day delivery constraints on the other. Events like this one are valuable when they help shorten that distance, by putting practitioners, regulators, and solution leaders in the same room to compare what is working, what is not, and what is ready for scale.

Who should attend

The forum is relevant for leaders and senior specialists across: Payments, transaction banking, financial crime and AML, compliance, risk, product, digital transformation, and technology, as well as fintech and RegTech founders building for regulated environments.
