Attending Merchant Payments Ecosystem in Berlin was a genuinely valuable experience. What stood out most was the quality of the conversations and the clear effort to bring the different sides of the payments industry together in one place.

MPE has built a strong forum for merchants, payment providers, fintechs, banks and other industry participants to exchange ideas in a practical way. Across the programme, the discussions reflected the issues that matter most right now: AI in payments, fraud prevention, open banking, embedded finance, payment orchestration, cross-border flows and the wider evolution of the merchant payments landscape.

I appreciated not only the scale of the event, but also the balance between strategic perspectives and more interactive formats such as workshops and roundtables. That combination made it easier to move beyond surface-level networking and have more meaningful discussions.

My thanks to the MPE team for creating a well-organised and relevant meeting point for the ecosystem. It was a pleasure to be there, to reconnect with familiar faces and to meet new people helping shape the future of payments.
